Mark Ito- Boston Marathon 2017

Mark Ito — Mark, Principal of the Wellesley Middle School, is very pleased to be running for the Wellesley Education Foundation (WEF).  His first marathon was run 19 years ago as a "bandit" in Boston (1998), and his most recent experience was in Chicago (2016).  To date, Mark has run three marathons in an effort to maintain personal health and exercise.  For him, it is a meaningful sport that brings Mark much joy and happiness.  Currently, Mark has decided to run for a cause that is very important to him and his work as an administrator in the Wellesley Public Schools.  Mark writes, As WMS Principal, I am involved with applying, encouraging, promoting and approving WEF grants for the middle school.  I see the number of programs and students that are impacted by the generosity of this foundation. Thank you for any contribution you can make to improving the important work of our schools. I am pleased and feel privileged to be running for WEF."  CLICK HERE to support Mark.
