We take curiosity to a new level! The Cambridge Science Festival, the first of its kind in the United States, is a celebration showcasing the leading edge in science, technology, engineering and math. A multifaceted, multicultural event every spring, the Cambridge Science Festival makes science accessible, interactive and fun!

Consider participating in these Cambridge Science Festival events:

  • Curiosity Challenge
So we are daring students between the ages of 5 and 14 years old to take the Cambridge Science Festival’s Curiosity Challenge. Write an essay, draw or take a picture about your curiosity and tell us how it prompted you to explore your world. Entries due by Feburary 6. All Wellesley submissions will be displayed at the Expo.
  • Germ Challenge
High school students are invited to create a video of 30 seconds to 5 minutes long that explains what a germ is to 5th graders - then 5th graders will select the winner.

Framingham, Advanced Registration Required

There is a world of possibility open to girls who study Science Technology, Engineering or Math! Without chemists, there would be no clean water or medicine. Without physicists, no astronomers! Right now, women only hold 24% of the STEM-related jobs in the United States, but that can change! If you are in grades 6-12, we want to know: What STEM career excites you? At the 3rd Annual STEM Conference and Expo, you can choose a workshop track based on your interests, and spend the day learning and exploring through hands-on activities.
